This has happened the last 3-4 times I wanted to play. See, now im just tired and dont even want to bother. After a couple Simulations things like this start happening and the only way to fix it is to cut your losses and start over. So this is the point I have to completely close and re open the game all together because simply opening a new sim wont cut it. I can change it with the slider, but not manually. It just sets it back to 66 years (that was the orbit period when I randomly placed it). I try to set the orbit period for 76 years, but it wont let me enter a custom number. I go into the motion details for Halleys Comet because I have to manually enter all the correct orbital info manually. I placed the Sun, the Earth, now I placed a Halleys Comet in orbit. Like a fool I am trying again to figure out what im doing wrong. Is this gone, or do I just have the worst luck possible? Because stuff like this happens to me A LOT and 95% of the time I dont bother reporting it. I know for a fact this simulation used to have this feature. I just want the simulation to show the comet outgassing normally. So the simulation is RANDOMLY making Halleys comets thousands of degrees, then stops. Then I placed another Halleys comet between the 1 AU and 2 AU mark and its -70C. I placed another at the 2 AU mark and again, glowing bright orange, I placed a third Halley Comet like 200,000 km farther out and magically its -77 C.

I placed a SUN, then at 1 AU I placed a Halleys Comet, as soon as I placed it the temp was set to 2673 C glowing bright orange.

So I tried again, I created ANOTHER brand new simulation.
